A revamped mythology to fit us, to fit who we are today, to connect the ancient and the future as expressed in the present moment. A celebration of the feminine - not as a dualistic force, but as a part of the whole, of the larger universe; an area in the spectrum - and an incredibly powerful creative force. The girl becomes a maiden, then a creative mother, and finally a powerful queen who selflessly accepts that the cycle of the life she created continues beyond her own. As we are entering into a new era of more balance, I want to show feminine power - it might be threatening to some, but the goal of that display is love and equity, not a reversal of the gender roles and patriarchy. Oppression doesn’t work and it hasn’t worked for centuries. Now, we can find a way to cohabit with real love and intimacy, without needing to use each other as props to fill our emotional voids and appease our fears.
lyrics
stories of ancient times
a little girl walks by
into
a wild peaceful land
she wears a crown
and is adorned
by signs of Hathor
around her
is the open sky
in an open land
she’s the heiress
under her feet
rivers grow
she stands in the middle of a sea
she creates an ocean as she grows
her breasts nourish a hundred children
as she becomes a woman
through her womb
all the animals are formed
and they come out moist
and filled with life
and all the animals
drink milk
from her breasts
as she nourishes them
with food
and life
her foot steps
in solitude

They are somewhere outside going for a walk and are openly and sometimes emotionally talking to each other. Fortunately they've recorded this moment for those who are interested. freejazzy
